Originally from Sligo. 28 year old BA in Communications student in Dublin City University.
Steven is the former Creative Director of Core Concepts, a graphic design and marketing company. He also was a Policy Officer of the Union of Students in Ireland, and a Project Coordinator in the National Educational Welfare Board. Steven on occasion works in the News Room of the Irish Times.

Steven was the Director of News for DCUfm, a community and student radio station, based in Dublin City University and currently presents two shows, Studio 1, a discussion based current affairs show and Simply Classic, a classical music show. He is the current Editor of The College View – the DCU student independent newspaper and also the former Chairperson of the DCU Journalism Society 09/10.
Nominations and awards
This blog has been shortlisted twice in the national blog awards and was the winner of ‘Blog of the Year’ in the national student media awards 2010.
Steve was also a runner-up for ‘Journalist of the Year’ in the national student media awards 2010 and is the current holder of the Board of Irish College Societies award ‘Website of the Year’.
